A volte per cambiare l'atmosfera dei nostri spazi non occorre cambiare obbligatoriamente i nostri complementi d'arredo, basta trasformali. La scelta però non può essere banale. Questo è un esempio di come un tavolo di nessun valore d'epoca e nemmeno di un legno pregiato, possa diventare un complemento d'arredo di tutt'altro profilo. Quello che mi piace proporre in questi casi, non è la copia d'autore classica di un'opera famosa. Ma bensì solo una sua sezione. Un ritaglio. Ho ideato questa possibilità per valorizzare gli ambienti con eleganza ed innovazione. L’opera famosa, sapientemente sezionata, viene riproposta in una nuova versione dove, attraverso un unico particolare ingrandito, sorprende per la forza espressiva rinnovata, che talvolta arriva a snaturarla, pur lasciandola riconoscibile e quindi immutabile. La scelta di omettere l’opera famosa nella sua totalità, per farne emergere solo una parte, è un modo per liberare un’altra emozione possibile. Sometimes to change the atmosphere of our spaces, it is not necessary to change our furnishing items, just transform them. However, the choice cannot be trivial. This is an example of how a table of no vintage value or even a precious wood, can become a furnishing accessory of a completely different profile. What I like to propose in these cases is not the classic copy of a famous opera. But only one section of it. A cutout. I conceived this possibility to enhance environments with elegance and innovation. The famous work, wisely sectioned, is revived in a new version where, through a single enlarged detail, it surprises for the renewed expressive force, which sometimes gets to distort it, while leaving it recognizable and therefore immutable. The choice to omit the work famous in its entirety, to bring out only a part of it, is a way to free up another possible emotion.
